STUDENT LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE
In the first century, no one asked a Jesus follower if they were a Jesus follower.
They were accused of it.
They were accused of it because of the way they lived, not because of what they said
they believed. And the way they lived was directly associated with the Way of the One
they followed.
The Way of Jesus was and is pretty clear.
Move toward the marginalized. Build bigger tables. Throw parties. Pursue peace. There
is no such thing as an “other.” Poke holes in oppressive systems. Don't retaliate with
violence. Love one another. Forgive one another. Love your enemies. Don't store up
wealth. Be present with people.
Be anxious to matter.
There has never been more moral and values-based messaging in human history. Your
generation is not under-informed. You are under-formed. More content is not the
answer.
You are.
Because your life is the greatest platform you will ever stand on.
That idea is at the heart of RMH’s The Student Leadership Experience.
The Student Leadership Experience will challenge and inspire you to develop your own
leadership skills and help you identify strengths and opportunities for growth and how
to apply them in everyday life. Most of all, you get to wrestle with real-life, real-time
issues by collaborating with peers and mentors who want to walk beside you as you
become a leader worth following.
Led by Stuart Hall, Director of INFLUNSR.™, an organization committed to fueling the
next generation of leaders worth following, The Student Leadership Experience is
designed for students and adult leaders to collaborate and learn together.
Adults, is there a student you see leadership potential in? Students, is there an adult
you want to do life with? Ask them to join you!
Three morning sessions: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday 7 AM-8:30 AM.
Each session builds on the other and encourages interactive collaboration, developing
deeper relationships and leadership qualities. There is no cost to this option.
