What should I pack?
Water bottle
Hydration is KEY at this altitude. Hydrate or die-drate.
Casual clothes
It’s camp, not a formal dinner.
Sweatshirt or jacket
Mountains = unpredictable weather. Pack LAYERS.
Rain jacket

Comfortable walking shoes
There will be A TON of walking - whether you hike or not.
Personal toiletries
Soap, shampoo, toothbrush, deodorant, etc.
Bible, journal & pen
You’ll definitely want to keep notes of what you learn.
Hat or sunglasses
We’re outside a lot.
Flashlight
It gets dark at the camp at night.
Sunscreen
You’re a mile closer to the sun up there.
Insect repellent
Woods = bugs.
Swimsuit & towel (for pool)

Towels & Linens
The YMCA Camp will provide linens (bedding) and one towel per person. Although you will have the opportunity to receive a clean towel(s) during the event, you may wish to bring an extra towel along.
If you signed up for a Rec Plus activity, here are the required items for each activity:
What is the adult to student ratio requirement for groups?
We require one adult for every seven students per gender.
If you do not have seven students, you still need one adult per gender.
Adult leaders must be graduated and out of high school for at least two years, exemplify Christ-like behavior and have youth ministry as a primary interest.
How do I register?

How do Recreation Plus assignments get sorted, and when is payment due?
Payment is due upon initial registration.
Recreation Plus is solely first come-first serve. This is different than it has been in past years - you’ll know your assignments as soon as you sign up online.
Recreation Plus is optional.
