Afternoon Recreation

At Rocky Mountain High, there are three full afternoons scheduled for assigned recreation. Check out the options below to pick which ones you want to sign up for!

Important Note:

Recreation options will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Each recreation activity has a limited number of spots per day; if an activity fills up, it will no longer be an option in registration.

Since Recreation sign-ups are online, you will know your assignments as soon as you complete registration and payment!

Registration Available Soon

Every participant will be assigned ON CAMPUS — YMCA CAMP for all three days unless you choose another free option (see below) and/or a Recreation Plus option.

Free Recreation

ON CAMPUS - YMCA CAMP

Spend the afternoon on the grounds of the YMCA camp where you’ll find tons of activities! There will be sports tournaments, inflatables, miniature golf, swimming, board games, hiking trails, and much more!

DOWNTOWN ESTES PARK - SHOPPING & SIGHTSEEING

Shuttle buses take you to downtown Estes Park where you can do some shopping, experience the local culture, and enjoy some tourist attractions.

POVERTY SIMULATION BY URBAN VENTURES

Urban Ventures’ poverty simulation is an interactive activity designed to cultivate a new understanding around poverty and its contributing factors.  Groups of participants take on the role of a Minneapolis family, having to navigate decisions around housing, employment, transportation, health care and more.
